LS1 Upgrades
The LS1 is an amazing powerplant right out of the box, however stock is never enough for me. Since I would have plenty of time with the motor before it went into the Z, I decided to spend some time (and money) on a few upgrades for the motor and the rest of the car
My setup will consist of the following:
- ASP crank pulley (came with my motor)
- LS6 Intake Manifold
- LS6 PCV system
- GM Performance Hot Cam ( 217/228 Duration @ .050 .525"/.525" lift 112LSA )
- GM LS6 valve springs
- SLP hardened pushrods, Chrome Moly 7.400''
- Walbro GSS340 fuel pump
- Aeromotive A1000-6 fuel pressure regulator
- Nash Motorsports long tube headers
- Centerforce Dual Friction 12" clutch
- Fidanza 12.5lb aluminum flywheel
- Magnaflow catalytic converters
- Magnaflow X-pipe
- Magnaflow mufflers
- UUC Wilwood 4 piston brake kit (uses E46 M3 slotted rotors)
- Hawk pads
- Bav Auto coilovers
- KMAC camber plates
- IE motor mount bushings
- IE subframe bushings
- Prothane tranny bushing
- 3.73 gears (e30 diff)
